What the regulator found

The FRC said EY admitted breaches of auditing standards on going concern, including insufficient challenge of key assumptions, and on the recoverability of a deferred tax asset. The FRC said the notice "does not question the truth and fairness of the FY21 financial statements." EY also received a published severe reprimand.¹
